St. Luke's HealthNow Episode Focuses on Plastic, Reconstructive Surgery, Dermatology
The next episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, on WFMZ, Channel 69. This episode discusses the differences between plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, factors influencing people to consider aesthetic surgery, and the recovery process following plastic surgery.
The episode features a panel of experts from St. Luke’s University Health Network’s (SLUHN) plastic and reconstructive surgery practice:
Dr. Christopher Sanders, MD
Dr. Alyson Melin, DO
Dr. Jonathan Lam, MD
“Although everyone thinks plastic surgery is just skin deep, a lot of what we do affects a patient’s mentality and their mental health,” said Lam. “That’s an aspect you can’t quantify.”
St. Luke's HealthNow, hosted by Ashley Russo, founder and executive producer of ASR Media, is a co-production of ASR Media and SLUHN.
