“COVID-19 is still with us. It is a devastating disease in many people. It clearly alters people’s lives with many complications, and unfortunately, results in great mortality among vulnerable populations,” said Jeffrey Jahre, MD, Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs. “No matter what the [COVID-19] strain is, it is susceptible to the vaccine. Prevention is always better than cure, no matter what we’re dealing with, and that certainly applies to COVID-19.”
