“Working In the pediatric intensive care unit at St. Luke's is really unique and really special. We see such a wide variety of children ranging from little children who just are a few days old having breathing problems to teenagers who underwent traumatic events,” said Dr. Plymire. “For many patients and many families, it's the worst day of their life for something that we see routinely. It may be something that was such a terrible thing for them, and we're able to help them through that.”
