Latest Installment of St. Luke's HealthNow Features Pediatric Orthopedics

 

The episode will explore children’s orthopedic options at St. Luke’s University Health Network, including surgery, trauma, physical therapy, and more. 

BETHLEHEM, PA – The 40th episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air on WFMZ, Channel 69, on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 6:30 PM. This latest episode from St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN), focuses on pediatric orthopedics in detail and features a panel of three distinguished network professionals: 

  • Nicholas Grimm, DO, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, St. Luke’s Orthopedic Care

  • Dustin Greenhill, MD, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, St. Luke’s Orthopedic Care

  • Lisa Nekola, PT, DPT, Program Director, Pediatric Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s

Each professional will discuss experiences working with children and families at SLUHN, including common childhood conditions, when surgery is necessary, rules of thumb regarding child healthcare, and gaining the trust of child patients and parents. Viewers will also hear from past patients of Dr. Grimm and Dr. Greenhill. The latter half of the episode features a deep dive into new technologies at SLUHN, like 3D-printed casts.
