St. Luke's HealthNow Focuses on Genomics and Precision Medicine

The next episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. This episode features a panel of experts from St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN), discussing the field of pathology and SLUHN’s new community health research program, DNA Answers.
The panel consists of the following experts:
Dr. Christopher Chapman, MD, chairman of pathology and laboratory medicine
John Gillard, MSPAS, PA-C, senior director of clinical and laboratory operations
Dr. Aldo Carmona, MD, senior vice president of clinical integration
“Precision medicine is an approach where we look at patients’ individual lifestyles, their environment and their genes,” said Dr. Chapman. “Then, we come up with a personalized plan to manage their issues.”
