St. Luke's HealthNow Episode Focuses on Heart Health

This episode discusses heart health and different treatment programs offered at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN). 

The next episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. This episode explores how to ensure positive heart health through condition identification methods and seeking treatment at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN).  

The episode features a panel of cardiology doctors at SLUHN: 

• Jake Marais, MD, General Cardiology

• Evan Joye, MD, Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant Cardiology

• Kimberly Wilson, DO, Interventional Cardiology

“Even genetics are modifiable within cardiology,” said Dr. Marais. “Many research articles have shown that patients can reduce the burden of heart disease or delay its onset by 10,15 years just by introducing healthy lifestyles.”
