St. Luke's HealthNow Special to Re-Air on May 20

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - May 8, 2019 - PRLog -- The only program of its kind in the region to treat lower back and neck pain with physical therapy as the first option, St. Luke's Comprehensive Spine strives to improve patient's discomfort, without surgery, in four to six weeks. In this tenth episode of St. Luke's HealthNow, experts dig deeper into the range of ways that back and neck pain or injuries can be treated. The program will re-air on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 PM on WFMZ Channel 69.

St. Luke's HealthNow - Comprehensive Spine, taped before a live studio audience, hosts a predominant team of St. Luke's pain specialists, including Giovanni Stracco, PT, DPT, CMP, OCS, ACCI, Director of the Spine Program for Physical Therapy at St. Luke's. Specializing in manual physical therapy, Stracco believes that a hands-on approach coupled with evidence-based medicine is the best way to ensure excellent patient care. The panel also includes Gbolabo Sokunbi, M.D., orthopedic surgeon with St. Luke's Orthopedic Care. Sokunbi boasts a special focus on spine concerns and believes in helping people to find positive solutions for their pain. The final panelist, Jason Erickson, D.O. is a physician from St. Luke's Spine and Pain Medicine Associates. Through his work, Erickson believes the greatest gift he can offer his patients is hope. Hosted by Ashley Russo, president and executive producer of ASR Media Productions, the program is a collaboration with St. Luke's University Health Network.
