Originally a native of New Paltz, New York, Dakota fell in love with television development while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in television/film at DeSales University. She completed an internship with ASR Media as a production intern and was thrilled to officially join the team following her graduation in May 2018. Dakota has received three Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® nominations for her work with Tails of Valor, Mikayla's Voice, and United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
For the past five years, Dakota has been a jury member for the New York International Screenplay Awards (NYISA) and frequently creates short films with her friends and local talent of the Lehigh Valley. She also served as a reader for the Screenplay Reading Committee for the 2020 Atlanta Film Festival. When she’s not editing, Dakota loves to write, interact with any kind of animal, and sing while playing her piano.
